A new chapter after my return to Los Angeles… I’m proud to announce my promotion at France’s leading newspaper! I started as a copyeditor for Le Monde in English in June 2024, then was promoted to Los Angeles Deputy Chief in August 2025.
Still printed daily in Paris, Le Monde was founded in 1944 by journalist Hubert Beuve-Méry under the direction of Charles de Gaulle (yes, the guy with an airport named after him). Le Monde in English (LMIE) launched in 2022, following the French media company’s expansion to the United States, with the opening of the Los Angeles bureau in 2016.
We just celebrated 10 years aux États-Unis.
